3.7.2 PARKING ON SLOPES

WARNING

q

Any movement of the machine when the operator is not on
board may cause serious accidents and even death; to
prevent this, carry out the operations described below.

q

Park on slopes only when it is absolutely necessary.

q

Park only with the front bucket directed downwards.

1 - Park the machine with the front bucket directed downwards

and resting against an obstacle.
If this is not possible due to the absence of natural obstacles,
rotate the bucket in dumping position and thrust the teeth into
the ground.

2 - Shift the reverse gear lever to position (N) and apply the

parking brake.

3 - Operate the backhoe controls until the bucket teeth are in

digging position and thrust them into the ground.

4 - Press the servo control locking button (LED on).

5 - Stop the engine, proceeding as described in "3.8 STOPPING

6 - Leave the driving position using the ladders and handles

provided for this purpose.

7 - Put wedges under the wheels.

8 - Refuel, taking the necessary precautions.

9 - Remove the ignition key and lock the cab.
