Offset lock pin (1) and lock plate (2) are installed at the top and bottom of right and left ends of the center
blade. (4 places in total)

Remove offset lock pin (1) and shim (3) above it.
7.
Remove lock pins (6) from both ends of folding blade (5).
8.
Check that there is a play between a hole of lock plate (7)
and lock plate fixing pin (8), and that the load of the folding
blade (5) is not applied to lock plate (7).
9.
Remove lock plate (7) from lock plate fixing pin (8) on fold-
ing blade (5).
10. Rotate lock plate (7) approximately 100 ° backward.
11. Rotate folding blade (5) 180 ° backward.
12. Fix folding blade (5) by setting the hole of lock plate (7) to
lock plate fixing pin (8) on folding blade (5).
13. Fix lock plate (7) and folding blade (5) by using lock pin
(6).
14. Install removed offset pins (1) (4 pieces), shims (3) (2
sets), and lock plates (2) (4 pieces) to holes (9) of center
blade.
REMARK
Install removed offset lock pins (1), shims (3), and lock plates (2) to holes (9) not to lose them.
METHOD FOR UNFOLDING BLADE
Unfold the blade in the reverse order to folding.
REMARK
Install shims (2) above the upper offset pins (1) at the right and
left ends of the center blade.
