Before You Begin
NOTE:
Clear silicone sealant is recommended. Use of acrylic or other caulks is not recommended.
Please read these instructions carefully to familiarize yourself with the required tools, materials, and
installation sequences. Follow the sections that pertain to your particular installation. This will help
you to avoid costly mistakes.
Review the manufacturer’s instructions for the plumbing components, shower doors, and any other
accessories that you plan to install.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Do not remove the old fixture before you unpack and inspect the new unit.
Unpack and inspect the received components for damage. If you find any damage, do not install the
component. Report any shortages or damages immediately to the place of purchase.
After inspection, return the components to the carton until you are ready to install them.
ADA Considerations—Refer to the Roughing-In
When possible, a side entrance to the unit should be employed to ensure the easiest wheelchair
accessibility.
Consider the path of the wheelchair user when building the clear floor space. Be sure there is
sufficient room for a wheelchair user to enter the room and maneuver the wheelchair to the unit.
