5. Install the Mounting Plate
Turn the volume control stem clockwise to the

using the shut-off knob (or gently with a pliers).
Position the mounting plate over the mounting hub with the
″
UP
″
imprint in the 12 o’clock position.
NOTE:
There are two threaded holes in close proximity to each
other in the valve. For this trim, make sure the screws are threaded
into the threaded holes in the corners of the valve.
Insert the screws through the slots in the mounting plate and
thread them into the valve.
Thread the screws in until they are almost tight, but loose enough
to allow the plate to be adjusted horizontally.
Align the marks on the mounting plate with the knobs on the
stem by sliding the mounting plate left or right as needed.
Fully tighten the mounting screws.
Apply a small amount of adhesive caulk or sealant to the top and
sides of the mounting plate.
