Remove the Solenoid
Close the control stop valve.
NOTE:
If the unit has not flushed since the stop valve was closed,
the inlet arm may still be pressurized. Use the manual flush button
to release pressure.
Using a 3/32
″
hex wrench, remove the setscrew from the cap.
Remove the cap by lifting from the valve body.
Pull the two connectors apart to disconnect the DC sensor
connector from the solenoid connector.
Temporarily store the cap and DC sensor assembly in a safe
place.
Using an adjustable wrench, turn the solenoid assembly
counterclockwise to remove the solenoid assembly from the valve
body.
