1. General
The personal rescue litter UT2000-Dual consists of two parts of the UT2000 which are connected together with quick locking devices as described in the
appropriate equipment manual. The litter is suspended to the helicopter by its belts, a swivel and a certificated recovery tow to the cargo hook or direct on the
hoist. The transport must be assisted by an extern crew member, also hooked to the helicopter.

Limitations
Max. speed with empty litter: hovering only
NEW: Maneuvering of winch with BRT/BRS is only permitted when hovering. (slow forward flight for load stabilisation is allowed)
NEW: During rescue of casualty with winch the anti-rotation rope shall be used.
Max. weight of payload: 160 kg
The electric latch disconnect and the cable cutter must be inactive
3.
Normal procedure
The patient will be carried in the litter and the transport must be assisted by a crew member.
A full description and maintenance Instructions are given in the pertinent equipment manual.
4.
Emergency
In case of an emergency the empty litter can be removed from the helicopter by disconnecting with the manual release.
In case of emergency with an occupied litter the litter and the external attached crew member should be dropped from the helicopter to ground with greatest
possible care by manually releasing the connection.
