Now the Furnace starts heating,
Display reads ,
The furnace temperature rises fast until the Sample
Insertion Temperature (in this case 99 °C) is reached.
Note : The furnace lid should be placed on the furnace.
If the furnace temperature is more than the Sample Insertion temperature, then:
As soon as the Furnace Temperature reaches Sample Insertion Temperature,
display reads,
Remove the Furnace lid. Now place the Sample such that it’s image appears exactly in
the center of the Monitor Screen. Place the furnace lid on the furnace such that it’s
edge(round) is not visible on the monitor.
If the image appears blurred, re-focus the Camera lens by rotating the Focussing-Ring.
Now press ‘ENTER’
The furnace will heat up to 5 °C below Set temperature.
