System Malfunctions
Problem
Possible Cause
Action
Solution is not moving in the
DEVELOPER or FIXER TANK.
Air in the RECIRCULATION
PUMP.
Important
Do not drain the TANK.
• Release some of the solution from
the TANK. Remove either:
– DEVELOPER STAND PIPE
– FIXER STAND PIPE
• Wait until the solution is moving in
the TANK.
• Insert and seat either:
– DEVELOPER STAND PIPE
– FIXER STAND PIPE
• Add solution to the TANK.
• If necessary, install a new
RECIRCULATION PUMP.
Agitation of the developer in the
DEVELOPER TANK is not correct.
The DEVELOPER
RECIRCULATION PUMP is
malfunctioning.
Install a new RECIRCULATION PUMP.
The ROLLERS are not parallel.
• A RECIRCULATION
HOSE is blocked.
• The PROCESSOR is
tilted.
• The ROLLERS do not
rotate correctly.
• The ROLLERS are dirty.
• Check the HOSES.
• Level the PROCESSOR.
• Check the RACKS and ROLLERS.
• Clean the ROLLERS.
• The “High s” INDICATOR
illuminates continually.
• The “Ready” INDICATOR is not
illuminated.
The developer temperature is
above the set point.
Wait until the PROCESSOR is ready.
The “Ready” INDICATOR blinks when
the PROCESSOR is energized.
The WASH TANK is filling.
Wait until the WASH TANK has filled.
• The “Low t” INDICATOR illuminates
continually.
• The “Ready” INDICATOR is not
illuminated.
The developer temperature is
below the set point.
Wait until the PROCESSOR is ready.
• The DRIVE MOTOR does not
operate.
• The ALARM emits a beep when film
is inserted.
The TOP COVER:
• is not seated correctly
• is removed from the
PROCESSOR
Place the TOP COVER correctly on
PROCESSOR.
