Wide to narrow ratio. The average ratio of wide element widths to narrow
element widths within a bar code. The wide to narrow average ratio is
calculated for both wide and narrow bars and wide and narrow spaces; the
smallest of the two ratios is displayed.

NEW

Minimum Narrow-Element Width A measure of the smallest narrow-element
width.

Reflectance

Contrast

Symbol contrast. A comparison of the darkest element and the lightest
element of the bar code.

MOD

Modulation. A measure of the consistency of the overall bar code print
clarity (all elements), specifically, the sharpness of the bar edge contrast.

DEF

Defect Ratio. A measure of the consistency of the individual element clarity,
specifically the occurrence of spots (in spaces) and voids (in bars).

RMIN

Minimum Reflectance. A measure of the lightest element of a bar code.
