Setting up Base Station and Transmitter

ATTENTION!!!IMPORTANT NOTE!!!

Open the battery case on the Base Station and the transmitter. Insert one battery only at first in each. Insert the second battery simultaneously in
the Base Station and the transmitter. Than press the “Hold/Reset” Button on the backside of the transmitter the OUT-Temperature will show up instantly

Installing the base station

Insertion of batteries

Open the gap for the batteries at the back side of the unit and insert the two AAA batteries. Remind the polarity markings. The base station will
start beeping and making a self test showing all display contents.

Installing the sensor

Take off the bracket stand at the back side and open the battery compartment at the back side by opening the four small screws. Insert from top to
bottom two AAA Batteries. Remind the polarity markings.

Battery change at the transmitter

At the battery change you have two possibilities:
1. To take out the batteries from base station and transmitter, then inserting newly. The transmitter books itself automatically again. The
disadvantage is that you must install the base station new.
2. Before you take out the old batteries from transmitter delete the channel first by selecting over the Channel button and deleting with the
Hold/Seek button (longer hold) the channel. Now insert the new batteries. The transmitter then books itself on the next free channel for one, though;
perhaps this isn't called at the same channel as before.
If there had been a functional transmission, and the display is flashing “-.-“, ther might be interruption of transmission or log-in of another unit.
Check first if you can switch to the desired channel via the CHANNEL-button. If this has occurred we suggest keeping it logged in because else it
might be that the other transmitter is logging in another time. Only if you want to install further transmitters and you don’t have another capacity
free, you should disconnect the transmitter like written below.
If doesn’t work, confirm that your batteries are fully operational.
If this fails it is likely that since you first installed the sensor the unit has encountered electronic or magnetic disturbances that interfere with
the function of the unit. This can be confirmed by bringing the sensor to a short distance to the base station to re-check proper function. As a
solution you may turn of the disturbing device or reduce the distance between base station and transmitter.

Essential information about channels

The measured temperatures at the sensors will be transmitted via radio waves (433,92 MHz) via three channels. When you have installed more than one
sensor, you are able to switch between the sensors by pressing the CHANNEL-button. Hold the CHANNEL-button for some seconds (confirming beep) to
change over to the auto-scroll-mode, where there is a change between the sensors every five seconds. To deactivate the auto-scroll-mode please press
another time on the CHANNEL-button.
When you only work with one sensor, or only one channel is booked in, the CHANNEL-button has no function.

Installing 12/24 Hours

The mode can be changed manually. When you press and hold the button MODE for approx. 3 sec., on the upper display will be a flashing “12hr”. By
pressing the button Hold/Seek at the back side of the base station the display switches between the two display modes. Please confirm it by pressing
the button MODE two time.

Adjusting time

Press for a short time the button MODE. “12hr” or “24hr” is flashing. Then press the button MODE again and you see flashing the time. Now you can
install the time with the button Hold/Seek and +°C/°F at the back side of the base station. Hold/Seek for minutes and +°C/°F for the hours. If you
had installed the time press the button MODE two times.

Installation of time alarm

Please press once for a short time on the button MODE. In the upper display will appear the recently saved alarm time. Then press for approx. 2 sec.
the button ALERT (the figures and the clock-symbol will flash. By pressing the buttons “+°C/°F” and “Hold/Seek” you can adjust the alarm time
analogue the normal time. By pressing the MODE-button the alarm time will be confirmed and activated. A short pressing on the button CLEAR will
activate or deactivate the alarm, the alarm itself will be stopped by pressing the button SNOOZE/Light at the top of the base station for 8 Min. and
with every other button permanently.

Installing °C/°F

Standard is a delivery in the °C-Mode, like usual in central Europe. If you want to change please press at the back side of the unit for a short time
the button °C/°F, then there will be a change between the two display modes.

The Minimum/Maximum-Function

The Min/Max-Function is automatically activated. By pressing the MIN/MAX-button at the front side of the base station. Senders number 1 to 3 and
inner temperature (up to the display) first shows the highest, afterwards the lowest and then again the actual measurements (for the chosen Sensor at
the display). To start a new phase, please press the Clear-button. Then all visible dates were deleted.

Installing the temperature alarm

1. Press and hold the ALERT-Button at the front side of the base station for approx. 3 sec. There will be a beep and some lines at the display will
flash. Another pressing on the ALERT-Button will show one after the other the upper and the lower inner temperature and the upper and lower outer
temperature for each installed transmitter.
2. The upper temperature (at the first time inner tempe50°C, outer tempe70°C, afterwards the last adjusted upper temperature) or the
lower temperature (at the first time inner temperature 0 °C, outer temperature -50°C, afterwards the last adjusted lower temperature) will be
displayed.
3. This you can adjust with the b und – (the known b (°C/°F) and – (Hold/Seek), at the backside of the base station).
4. After three seconds waiting without pressing any button, the data is been chosen. If you have not reached the aimed temperature yet, you have to
begin the process from the start.

2) Activating the temperature alarm

When you have adjusted the temperature limits like above mentioned, you can activate the alarm by pressing the ALERT-button at the front of the base

station. The symbol

is been shown at the display. Another pressing of the button will deactivate it again, and the symbol vanishes again.
