1.6  Maintenance and Repair

Maintenance

Maintenance work on the Stratos Multi and the sensors is only permitted in the function check (HOLD)
mode, since otherwise there is a risk of unexpected system behavior.

The function check (HOLD) mode is activated on the device during:

• Calibration (the selected channel only)

• Maintenance (current source, measuring points)

• Parameter setting on the operator and administrator levels

Repair

The Stratos Multi and measuring module cannot be repaired by the user. To request a repair, please
contact Knick Elektronische Messgeräte GmbH & Co. KG by visiting www.knick.de.

1.7  Residual Risks

The product has been developed and manufactured in accordance with generally accepted safety
rules and regulations. However, it is not possible to rule out all risks.

The effects of moisture, ambient temperature, chemicals, and corrosion can negatively impact the safe
