7 Installation and connection
The pumps are only to be installed in accordance with the operating pa-
rameters and conditions described in Chapter
4 Technical data .

Observe safety notices (see Chapter 3 Safety ).
Take protective measures against penetration by foreign bodies into
the pump, as these can damage the pump.
7.1 Installing the pump

Before installing, store the pump at the installation location to allow it to
reach the ambient temperature.

Cooling air supply
WARNING
Danger of getting burned by hot surfaces
Hot surfaces could occur if the pump overheats.

When installing the pump, make sure that
sufficient cooling air infeed and discharge is
ensured.
Immediate environment of the
hot pump parts
à
During installation, make sure that no combustible or thermally de-
formable objects are positioned in the immediate environment of the
hot pump parts (head, motor).
