7.1.2  Positioning the circular knife on the grinding wheel

Swivel the grinding arm with the clamped circular 
knife forwards onto the grinding wheel.

The cutting edge of the circular knife (7-7/1) must 
be approximately 15 mm in front of the center of 
the grinding wheel.

To do this, loosen the lower clamping lever (7-8/1) 
counterclockwise and move the entire grinding 
attachment (7-8/2) until the cutting edge of the 
circular knife is approx. 15 mm in front of the 
 center of the grinding wheel (see figure 7-7).

Retighten the lower clamping lever (7-8/1).

7.1.3  Swiveling the circular knife grinding attachment

Loosen the two terminal screws (7-9/1) on the 
mounting head counterclockwise with a 6 mm 
hexagon screwdriver. 

Swivel the mounting arm clockwise until its edge 
lies on the center marking (7-9/2) of the mounting 
head.
