7.4 Grinding of circular knives with d. 60 - 180 mm
Never change the grinding device with clamped circular knife.
Never dismantle the grinding device while the machine is on.
Take care while clamping the knife! Sharp knife edge!
Danger of serious cut injuries! Wear protective gloves.
CAUTION
For grinding smaller circular knives, the grinding
device for d.180 - 475 mm must first be disman-
tled.
To do that, turn the clamping lever (7-8/1) clock-
wise all the way to the stop.
While holding the grinding device with the left
hand, turn the clamping lever (7-8/2) coun-
ter-clockwise all the way to the stop.
Remove the device and keep in a safe place.
Take the grinding device for d. 60 -180 mm (7-9/1)
from the holder on the switch box (3-2/1) and
place it on top.
Tighten clamping levers (7-8/2) and (7-8/2) back
again.
