TROUBLES AND REMEDIES
Disconnect nailer from hose before servicing. When connecting the tool, it must contain no fasteners.

Air leaking from exhaust
port.
O-rings (e, f, g, h) damaged or dirty.
Clean or replace parts.
Air leaking from release
valve (70 000) (light blowing
permissible)
Release valve damaged.
Have tool checked by service
workshop.
Blow does not take place.
Nailstrip jammed.
Safety trip (a) secured because no
nail is pressing on no-load-lock (i).
The magazine is empty or the nailstrip
jammed.
Remove the obstruction.
Idle impact or nails are not
fully driven in.
Tool is applied too weakly for too a
short time.
Tool exhausts considerably in the
lowest position of the piston, O-ring
(t), bumper (u, v) worn or damaged.
No backstroke.
Tool without sufficient lubrication.
Air pressure too low.
Tool jumps.
Connection hose too long. Diameter
reduced in the air line or in the
maintenance unit (fall of pressure).
Piston completely (r) damaged.
Tip of driver worn.
Apply tool more firmly
Replace damaged parts.
Clean the interior pieces, grease the
counter surfaces of the O-rings and
the surface of the cylinder. Check the
lubricator.
Adjust to correct air pressure (min. 6
bar / 0.6 MPa).
Press tool more firmly onto the
workpiece.
Investigate and correct trouble.
Replace bumper .
Grind face of driver tip.
Nails head bend and
protrude from wood.
Bad nail strips.
Use proper
KMR
nail strips.
Nailer operates too slowly.
Tool without sufficient lubrication.
Control parts frozen-up.
Clean the interior pieces, grease the
counter surfaces of the O-rings and
the surface of the cylinder. Check the
lubricator.
Check operation of water separator.

Code No. 73 3075
During repair replacement of parts the special grease (code no. 68 3868) must be applied to the surface of
the cylinder and the counter surfaces of the O-rings.
Piston is not arrested in bumper (v);
bumper worn.
Replace piston. At the same time
check bumper (v) for wear.
KMR
Pull back and release pusher or insert
nail strips.
