SCRAPER FINGER, TRIPLE
In some soil conditions, it may be beneficial to add a scraper kit to the spiked roller to prevent soil
buildup on the roller surface. The optional scraper kit comes with scraper brackets, scraper mount an-
gles, scraper fingers, and hardware required for mounting. To install the scraper kit on an existing
roller, use U-bolts (7) to loosely mount the scraper brackets (9) to the 4 x 4 tube the roller is mounted
on. Using 3/8” hardware (6) (3) (4) (5), loosely bolt the scraper angle (8) to the scraper brackets (9).
Next, attach the scraper fingers (10) to the scraper angle (8) using 3/8” hardware (6)(3)(4)(5). Scraper
fingers should be spaced so the spikes on the roller pass through the center of the slots in the fingers.
There should also be an 1/8” gap between the tip of each finger and the surface of the roller so that the
roller spins freely. Once the fingers are evenly spaced across the surface of the spiked roller, tighten all
bolts according to the torque chart in the “
General Assembly
” setup part of this manual.
