Mounting the tension relief on the ceiling tube
The illustration shows an example of the IDP 401
ceiling tube
with 8 Allen cylinder screws
M10 x 25 mm (8.8) DIN EN ISO 4762. For reasons
of simplification, the illustration shows the
extension arm without pre-installed cables.
•
Insert 1 Allen cylinder screw M10 x 25 mm
or 1 Allen cylinder screw M10 x 30 mm and
retaining washer S10 into the tension relief
bracket .
•
Position the tension relief bracket in the
ceiling tube
in a way that the recess of
the tension relief bracket points towards the
ceiling tube wall.
•
Place pre-installed cable into the recess
of the tension relief bracket .
•
Screw tension relief bracket on the
extension arm
,
using the cylinder
screw and retaining washer
.
Ensure that
the cable is not pinched.

•
Establish the plug connection / with the control cable and press the tension relief
into the tension relief bracket .
Make sure the tension relief is securely in place:
•
The control cable must be securely relieved of pressure in the pressure relief .
•
Guide the control cable through the ceiling tube
and the extension arm
,
to
the distributor board.
WARNING
Danger of injury due to the suspension arm system falling!
Insufficiently tightened fastening elements can cause the suspension arm system to fall:
•
Tighten all cylinder screws with a torque of 40 Nm.
