13. Disposal & transportation
Disposal
All electronic components, such as motor, display, battery
and charger are to be returned to an environmentally friendly
recycling. These parts should not be considered household
waste or abandoned into the environment.
According to the European Directive 2002/96/EC,
defective or no longer usable electrical equipment
must be collected separately and returned to an
environmentally friendly recycling. The same goes for
batteries according to the European Directive 2006/66/
EC. Please return broken or defective batteries to an
authorised Klever retailer.
Transportation
Only the battery is considered to be hazardous and subject
to the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation requirements
during transport or shipping by third parties (agents, air
transportation or mail). Refer to section 5.5.4. Transport of
the battery. The transport of all other parts of your E-bike is
not particularly limited.
