6.10 Child seat
In Belgium and the Netherlands, you may carry children
up to the age of 8 years only with a decent back support.
Therefore, on your E-bike carry children only with a child seat.
You should install child seats with an appropriate DIN / GS
approval only. Read and adhere to the instruction manuals of
the seat manufacturer. If traveling in other countries, check
the local rules and regulations. For instance, in Germany
the rules are slightly different from those in Belgium and the
Netherlands.
Caution! In case of parking your Klever 25 km/h E-bike,
never leave your child in the child seat. Take the child out
of the seat.
Please note! Make your child wear an appropriate
helmet. And always keep in mind that a child seat with
a child will greatly affect the handling of the E-bike.
The bike tends to lurch. Therefore, you should practice
starting and riding it before taking part in road traffic.
Please note! Do not exceed the maximum permitted
weight of E-bike, cyclist and cyclist of 150 kg.

6.7 Luggage carrier and transport
of luggage
Your Klever E-bike has a robust and durable aluminium luggage
carrier (image 6.22). The carrier is compatible with the majority
of all standard panniers, and you can use it in conjunction with
an extensive range of accessories. Please note, the maximum
load capacity of the luggage carrier is 25 kg.
Please note! When transporting luggage make sure that
you do not exceed the total maximum permitted weight
of 150 kg., being the combination of E-bike + c
luggage.
Caution! The additional weight of luggage on your rear
carrier changes the handling of your E-bike and makes
the required braking distance longer as well.
6.8 Anti-theft protection
This Klever E-bike comes with a motor lock and immobiliser
combined with an acoustic alarm system. The battery can
only be removed from its docking station by unlocking the
battery lock with the key (see section 5.5.3 Removal and
mounting of the battery pack). We recommend to also use a
robust and high-quality chain lock in order to be able to lock
the vehicle to solid fixtures.
6.9 Accessories
Useful accessories can enhance the functionality and comfort
of your E-bike and they can increase your riding pleasure too.
These accessories are available at your Klever dealer.
Please note! Accessories must be compatible with your
Klever 25 km/h E-bike. Incompatible accessories may
influence and alter the riding characteristics of your
bike and can lead to accidents. Best ask your dealer for
information and advice.
