1.6 USE OF THE INSTRUMENT

Store the instrument including all the equipment supplied in dry rooms away from children and prevent
unauthorized access.
1.8 CLEANING
BEWARE
Improper cleaning will result in damage to the surfaces of the instrument and to malfunction. Only clean the
instrument and handset with a dry, soft cloth. A special antistatic cleaning cloth is recommended for the
touchscreen and optical unit.
1.9 REPAIRS
Never open the instrument. Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer’s customer service to guarantee
compliance with the safety requirements and the continued safety of personnel. See page 2 "Customer Service".
1.10 DISPOSAL OF THE INSTRUMENT
According to European Directive 2002/96/EC relating to waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE), waste domestic electrical appliances must not be disposed of with conventional domestic
waste. Enquire about collection points at the municipal refuse disposal offices or send the instrument
back to KLAPP Cosmetics GmbH, see page 2 "Customer Service".
Impairment of visual function
• Do not look directly into the optical unit.
Infection hazard
A UV sterilization lamp is integrated into the charging
station.
• Place the handset in the charging station for
sterilization after each use.
BEWARE
To avoid material damage:
• If the handset heats up too intensively, switch off
the instrument and let the handset cool down.
• Do not place any foreign substances in the optical
unit.
• Do not use any pointed objects to make contact
with the touchscreen.
