1.4 WARNINGS USED IN THIS INSTRUCTION MANUAL
To distinguish between hazard risks, the hazard symbols and signal words used for personal injury are in
compliance with DIN EN 82079-1:
1.5 SETTING UP THE INSTRUMENT
WARNING
Danger to life from electricity:
• Set up the instrument so that it cannot fall in the
event of unintended impacts or the cable being
pulled.
• Do not pull the mains cable in order to disconnect
the instrument from the electricity supply.
• Keep the mains cable away from heat, oil and
sharp edges.
• Check the mains cable for visible damage, use
a new cable if necessary.
• Only connect the mains cable to a socket with
a protective earth conductor.
• Disconnect the instrument from the electricity
supply at the end of the working day.
BEWARE
Observe the following to avoid damage to property
and functional disruptions:
• Store and transport the instrument in its packaging.
• Place the instrument down on a stable and
non-slip surface.
• Take account of the space required for personnel
to operate and use the instrument.
• Do not expose the instrument to direct sunlight.
• Kee

explosive objects, smoke and dust.
• Do not use in bathrooms or other damp
environments.
