4. Using the timer function
4.1 Using the timer as a minute minder
• Make sure that the hob is switched on without any cooking
zone being activated. (Power indicators: )
• Touch the timer control .
The time display of the timer will start flashing.
• Use the and key to set the desired time (1-99 min.).
• When you have set the desired time, wait 5 seconds.
Then the time display will stop flashing, the timer will start
countdown and the remaining time will be displayed.
• To change the time during the countdown, touch the timer
key again and use the and keys.
• To reset the setting, set the remaining time to 0.

After the set time has elapsed, a beep will sound.

Note:
If the timer is activated without any cooking zone ope-
ration, only a beep sounds after the time has elapsed.
If a cooking zone is switched on before the set time has
elapsed, the timer is deactivated.
Note:
Tap the or keys once to adjusts the time in
single steps of 1 minute each, pressing and holding
accelerates the setting process.
If the time setting of 99 min. is exceeded, the display
automatically returns to 0 or, if the time falls below 0,
to 99 min.
