Self-cleaning baffles / Catalytic plates
On the side walls of the cooking chamber so-called cata
-
lytic plates are installed. Their surface is provided with a
special enamel coating that can absorb and volatilize oil
and grease.
This reduces impurities in the cavity and unpleasant
odours during the cooking process.
Fixing the self-cleaning baffles
Install the side rack and self-cleaning baffle one by one
horizontally onto the side wall of the cavity as shown in the
figure.

Removing the self-cleaning baffles
You can also remove the self-cleaning baffles for cleaning
the cavity and other elements (see table for cleaning inst
-
ructions):

Pull the side rack aut of its anchorage horizontally as
described above. The self-cleaning baffle will be pulled
out together with it. (Fig.

)

Take the rack out of the cavity together with the self-
cleaning baffle. (Fig.

)
•
Separate the self-cleaning baffle from the side rack
(Fig.
3
).
