USING THE WAFFLE MAKER
• Before using your waffle maker for the first time, clean the
cooking surface thoroughly by wiping it with a sponge or
cloth dampened with hot water.
• Slightly grease the cooking plate with a little butter or
cooking oil.
• Put the plug into the wall socket. The red power light will
light up to show that the waffle maker is heating.
• Allow the waffle maker to heat up until the red power light
turns off. The waffle maker is now ready for use.
• NOTE:
When using the waffle maker for the first time, a
fine smoke haze may occur. This is normal and happens
due to the initial heating of the internal components.
• Prepare the batter for your waffle while the waffle maker
is pre-heating.
• Fill the plates with batter and close the waffle maker.
• Open the waffle maker after 3-5 minutes and check
whether the waffles are sufficiently ‘brown’. The cooking
time required to obtain crisp brown waffle depends on the
type of batter and your personal taste.
• NOTE:
During cooking, the red indicator light cycles on and
off to maintain the appliance at the correct temperature.
• Unplug the waffle maker from the wall socket after use.
