terminals of the ambient thermostat.
The meter should indicate continuity when the
temperature is above ________ degrees F.

Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

Touch the leads of an ohmmeter to the two
terminals of the defrost bimetal.
The bimetal opens at 4 degrees C, 40 de-
grees F. and closes as -4 degrees C, 25 de-
grees F.
