Setting the timer
•
Press the timer button to activate the timer mode. The timer symbol
lightens up and the number on the display starts flashing.
•
Touch the +/- sensors to increase or decrease the time on the timer. You can
adjust the time between 1 minute and 3 hours.
•
Once you have set the desired time, wait until the display stops flashing.
The countdown starts.
•
When the time has expired, the device stops heating and turns itself off.
•
Automatic shutdown: If the device is running permanently without the timer
selected, it shuts down automatically 2 hours after switching on. In timer
mode, automatic shutdown is deactivated.
Keep warm mode
•
Use the keep warm mode after cooking to prevent cooling down in the pot.
•
Press the keep warm sensor button. The cooktop warms up the cookware
at low temperature to keep a constant temperature in the pot.
•
In keep warm mode the temperature cannot be adjusted individually.
Child safety lock and locking the device
The device can be locked to prevent unintended operation.
•
Press the + and - sensor at the same time to lock the device. The lock
display lights up.
•
In this mode, the ON/OFF switch is the only selectable function. All other
functions are locked.
To cancel the function:
•
Press + and - at the same time for 3 seconds. The lock display shuts off.
