General instructions for use
•
The sensor buttons of the opera-
ting panel react to touch. Pressing
firmly is not necessary. Use your
fingertips and not your nails.
•
Each button command is confir-
med by an acoustic signal.
•
Always keep the sensor button
clean and dry. Do not cover them
with objects such as cleaning clo-
ths, oven cloths or other cooking
utensils. Even the thinnest film of
water on the surface could affect
the sensor button’s functionality.
•
Always keep ventilator slots free.
•
Only use cookware containing
foods or liquids and always place it
in the center of the cooktop.
•
Connect the power plug to the
wall socket. An acoustic signal is
emitted and ‘L’ is displayed on
the control panel. The device is in
standby mode.
•
To turn the device on, press the
ON/OFF sensor button. Now you
can use the plate for heating. To do
so, press the control key once.
•
If the control key is not pressed
within 10 seconds after switching
on the device, it shuts off auto-
matically.
•
If there is no appropriate cook-
ware placed on the cooktop after
pressing the control key, an acoustic
signal is emitted and the plate does
not heat up. After 1 minute the
device shuts off automatically.
•
The heat supply also stops auto-
matically when the cookware is
removed from the cooking area. An
acoustic signal is emitted and the
device switches to standby mode.
•
After use, press the ON/OFF sensor
button to switch the device to
standby mode and to turn it off.
•
Remove the power plug from the
wall socket.
