Rule
The better the mounting of the measuring device (force
link, dynamometer) on a base structure and the firmer the
attachment of the force introduction parts – the higher is
the resonant frequency and the wider is the usable fre-
quency range. At the same time the mass mounted on the
force link must be kept low.
Most piezoelectric force sensors behave as a single-mass vi-
bration system and follow the rule:
