STARTING AND STOPPING

 

Starting the Engine: 

1. 

The chain brake should be activated 
when starting the chain saw. Activate 
the chain brake by pushing the front 
hand guard forwards. 

 

2. 

Press the oil cup repeatedly until fuel 
begins to fill the diaphragm (about 3~6 
times). The oil cup need not be 
completely filled. 

 

3. 

Move the switch to 

“ON “position. 

4. 

Pulling out the chock knob, the chock is closed. 

5. 

Grip the front handle with your left hand. Put your right foot into the boot grip through the 
lower section of the rear handle pressing the machine against the ground. 

6. 

Pull the starter handle with your right 
hand and pull out the starter cord slowly 
(about 3~4 times) until you hear a "puff" 
sound.  

 

7. 

By disengaging the throttle latch in 
order to the chock is opened. Pull the 
starter handle with your right hand and 
pull out the starter cord rapidly until the 
engine starts. 

 

8. 

Pull the front hand guard back towards 
the front handle. The chain saw is now 
ready for use.
