Dispose of all wastes like gaskets, gland packing, oil, batteries, packing material,
etc., in accordance with local regulations. Normally this would involve incineration of
liquid waste and controlled landfill of polymerized material.
Adequacy of suitable crane should be checked before lifting the pump/pump
components. Also condition of pulleys, chain and lifting shackles should be checked
before use.
