HINTS FOR AIR CONDITIONER USE
1. The air conditioning system uses the
new refrigerant HFC-134a. Using any
other type of refrigerant will cause
system failure
2. System failure will occur if the refrig-
erant is contaminated with moisture.
R e p a i r l e a k s p r o m p t l y a n d f o l l o w
proper AC service procedures.
3. L o w o i l w i l l r e s u l t i n c o m p r e s s o r
failure. Excessive oil will cause im-
proper cooling.
WARNING
An automotive washer fluid is
highly recommended. Plain wa-
ter will freeze and damage the
system.
To avoid damage, do not operate
the windshield washer without
fluid.
Do not operate the washer if there
is mud or significant debris on the
windshield. Do not operate the
washer if the windshield is in-
clined to freeze. Either will ob-
scure vision causing a hazard.
Do not operate the wiper if it is
frozen to the windshield. System
damage may result.
