Insert the key and turn it one click to the
right, this is the accessory position. Turn
the key one more click to the right, this is
the ON (run) position. When turned to the
ON position all warning lamps (coolant
level, low fuel, engine oil pressure, bat-
tery charge, glow plug and hydraulic
filter) will illuminate to test the system.
When the test is completed, only the oil
pressure, battery charge and glow plug
lamps will remain illuminated. At this point
the glow plugs are preheating the engine.
When glow plug lamp turns off, the trac-
tor is ready to start.
KEY SWITCH
(1) Key Switch
(A) Start
(B) Heat
(C) On
(D) Acc
(E) Off
TURN SIGNAL/ HEAD LIGHT SWITCH
(1) Turn Signal Light Switch
(2) Head Light Switch
(A) Right (B) N (C) Left
To indicate a right turn, turn signal light
switch one click to C.W. To indicate a left
turn, Turn signal light switch one click to
C.C.W.
When the left or right turn sinal is acti-
vated in combination turning light will flash
and the other will stay on.
Turning the light switch one click to C.W.
illuminates the Low Beam headlights and
taillights. Next, turning it one more click
illuminates the High Beam headlights.
Depress the clutch and turn the key to
the start position. This will rotate the
engine. When the engine starts release
the key and it will return to the ON
position.
CAUTION
Because of the safety device, the
engine may not be started except
when the clutch is disengaged.
