Installing with Back Vent
Island installation with a top vent is possible as long as the horizontal
portion of the vent system does not exceed 20 feet (6.1 m). When you
install your fireplace as in position ‘B’, ‘D’ or ‘E’, a minimum of 6 inches
(153mm) clearance must be maintained from the perpendicular wall and
the front of the appliance.
A - Flat on a wall
