DANGER! Risk of injury!
The equipment must only be put into operation if
no faults are found. If any safety equipment is defective, it must be replaced
before the next use.
Operation
Check before starting:
1. Check the equipment, as well as accessories for damage before each use. Do not
use the equipment if it is damaged or shows wear.
2. Double check that the cutting device (1) is properly fixed, tightened and lubricated.
3. Check the fuel level, refill if necessary.
4. Always hold the equipment by its handles. Keep the handles dry and clean to ensure
proper grip.
5. Ensure that the air vents are unobstructed and clear. Clean them if necessary with
a soft brush. Blocked air vents may lead to overheating and damage the equipment.
6. Wear correct personal protection equipment to protect yourself from hidden objects
that may be thrown from the cutting attachments.
7. Ensure the area to be worked is clear of sticks, wire etc. or other objects that could
damage the equipment.
8. Stop the engine immediately if you are disturbed while working by other people
entering the working area. Always let the equipment come to complete stop before
putting it down.
9. Do not overwork yourself. Take regular breaks to ensure you can concentrate on
the work and have full control over the equipment.
