This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced 

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless 

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a 

person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

■ 

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

–staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; 

– farm houses; 

– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; 

– bed and breakfast type environments.

■ 

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons 

with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and 

knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the 

appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play 

with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children 

without supervision.

Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years, when it is 

switched on or cooling down.

Before first use

Before first use, it is recommended to operate the kettle for 2 or 3 times following the 

instructions above, this will remove any dust or residues remaining from the manufactur-

ing process.

Take up the jug kettle from the base before filling.

■ 

To fill the jug kettle, open the cover by pressing the lid button downwards, then fill to 

the desired level (min0.5L-Max.1.7L), close the lid by pressing it down until it clicks into 

place. 

■ 

Plug the power supply cord into the main, press the On/Off switch down, the power 

indicator lights up. 

■ 

When the water has boiled the kettle will automatically switch itself off. You can stop 

the boiling process at any time by lifting the On/Off switch. The power indicator will go 

out. 

Note:  Do not open the lid when steam is coming out of the spout.

           Kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.

Cleaning

■ 

First read the instructions in the section titled “Importance”. 

■ 

Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents.
