Unpacking Carton
Caution:
K12300 Scissor Lift Table is heavy please seek appropriate assistance if required.
Place carton in a clear, open area such as garage floor. Remove parts from carton.
Assembly is required so it is important to check all parts are on hand and familiarise yourself with the
assembly requirement as detailed in the exploded diagram.
OPERATING SCISSOR LIFT TABLE
Preparing Work Area
Before using the Scissor Lift Table, it is important to prepare work area properly. Follow this procedure each
time the Scissor Lift Table is used to help prevent property damage and/or serious injury.
1.) Thoroughly inspect Scissor Lift Table for damage or wear before each use. Briefly test operation before
using to work on any job. If supply cord is damaged or machine is malfunctioning DO NOT USE until the
problem is corrected.
2.) Consult owner
’s manual for safety precautions correct use and recommended procedures before using
the Scissor Lift Table.
3.) Never use to carry items which overhang the table, Large or heavy objects may cause the table to
become unstable and may topple over leading to personal injury and or property damage.
4.) Clear obstructions from work area. Working in tight or cluttered work areas is dangerous.
5.) Ensure Scissor Lift Table and operator are on solid, level ground such as paved or concrete driveway or
garage floor. Uneven or sloped surfaces create hazardous working conditions and may dangerously
impede the function of the Scissor Lift Table.
6.) Do not exceed listed weight capacity. Be aware of dynamic loading! Sudden load movement may briefly
exceed load capacity causing product failure.
Using the Scissor Lift Table
1.) Position the Scissor Lift Table on a smooth surface and apply the wheel brake.
2.) Position the lift table at the appropriate height to easily position the load on center of the work table.
Check that the load is center on the table, off center loads can be dangerous.
3.) Lower the Scissor Lift Table to its lowest position and release wheel brake, never move Scissor Lift Table
in a raised position.
4.) Raise Scissor Lift Table to the appropriate height to unload the load, always use correct manual handling
techniques and seek assistance for heavy loads.
Warning
The Scissor Lift Table is not a work bench and no work should be undertaken on the Scissor Lift Table.
Dynamic forces may cause the table to become unstable damaging the Scissor Lift Table and dropping the
load.
