Use standard LAN cables to connect to the router.
Configuring PC settings (IP address)

On Windows XP, on the taskbar, click Start, Control Panel, and then Network
Connections.
On Windows 7, on the taskbar, click Start, Control Panel, and then View
network status and tasks under Network and Internet.

Click the Local Area Connection property.

On Windows XP, select the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) check box, and then click
Properties.
On Windows 7, select the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) check box,
and then click Properties.

Click Obtain an IP address automatically.
