iPod PLAYER 

 

  CATEGORY AND TRACK SEARCH 

Knob 

 is used to browse through or search for a music category or music track.   

Press and hold knob 

 for more than 3 seconds.    Then, turn knob 

 right or left to display 

the available category.    Each time you turn button 

, the LCD displays as follows:   

 
 
 

When the selected category is displayed, press knob 

 to display the content available for 

selection in that category.  Turn knob 

 to browse the available content.  When the 

selected content is displayed, press knob 

 to begin playback of the music track. 

 

   

TRACK DOWN & REVIEW BUTTON 

This button   is used to select track down. 

 

Each time (        ) is pressed, track number is decreased.   
Press and hold this button (        ) to advance rapidly in the backward direction (REVIEW). 
 

    TRACK UP & CUE BUTTON 

This button   is used to select track up. 

 

Each time the (        ) is pressed, track number is increased. 
Press and hold this button (        ) to advance rapidly in the forward direction (CUE). 

 

 

  ID3 v2 (DISP) 

Button   is used to change the displ

ay information.   

Each time button 

 

is pressed, the display changes 

to show the information shown at right. 

 

Note:

 If the music file/track has no ID3 information, 

the display will show “Unknown”.

     

 

 
 
 
 

  REPEAT PLAY SELECTOR (RPT)  

During iPod playback, press button   to play the currently playing track repeatedly. “RPT” 

will appear on the display panel when the function is selected.  Playback of the track will 
continue to repeat until the button is pressed again; “RPT” then disappears from the display 
panel.  

 

    RANDOM PLAY SELECTOR (RDM)   

During playback within a category, press button   to play tracks within the currently selected 

category in a random or shuffled order.    “RDM” will appear on the display panel.    The track 
select function   will now select tracks in the random mode instead of the normal sequence.

   

 

During category play, press button   for more than 2 seconds to play tracks in the current 

Album in a random or shuffled order.  “RDM” will blink on the display panel.  The track 
select function   will now select tracks in the random mode instead of the normal sequence.
