Assemble units as described herein only. To do otherwise
may result in instability. All screws, nuts and bolts must be
tightened securely and must be checked periodically after

Bed Safety Bar for Spring Bed
Frames
Note:
Bed safety bars must be
installed prior to placeing the spring
bed deck into the bed deck frame, or
disassembly is required.
1. Position the bed saftey bar as
illustrated, so the top lip of the
channel goes over the top edge of the
side rail (Figure 6
& Detail A).
2. Next, rotate the safety bar so that its
bottom lip is positioned below the
bed side rail, on the inside of the bed
frame (

& Detail A).
3. Install the spring bed deck into
positon, between side rails and
supported by middle and end
stringers. The spring bed deck sides
will trap the saftey rail and keep it
from rotating out of position.
