4. Removing the Footrest
a. Remove two 6mm screws (Fig. 11:A) from each side of the footrest frame clamp.
b. The entire footplate assembly can now be removed.
5. Replacing the Footrest
a. Loosen the two 6mm screws (Fig. 11:B) on the center clamp.
b. Slide the tube (Fig. 11:C) out of the center clamp.
c. Remove the two 6mm screw (Fig. 11:D) from the mount bracket.
d. Slide the tube (Fig. 11:C) out of the mount bracket.
e. Replace the tube (Fig. 11:C) with one of the new tubes from the growth kit.
f. Repeat steps a - e on the opposite side.
g. Reinsert the 6mm screw (Fig. 11:D) through the mount bracket and tube (Fig. 11:C).
Retighten and repeat on the opposite side ensuring the same holes are used on both
sides.
NOTE: There are three possible positions (Fig. 12:A). Choose the position that is optimal
for the desired footrest height.
h. Insert the tube (Fig. 11:C) through the pivot bracket (Fig. 11:E) and into the center clamp.
Repeat on the opposite side.
i. Mount the complete footrest assembly onto the front frame in the desired footrest height
location by placing the clamps on the front frame.
j. Replace the two 6mm screws (Fig. 11:A) into the clamp on each side.
k. Tighten one of the 6mm screws slightly on each side. Once secure, finish tightening the
four 6mm screws. Tighten each screw a little at a time to prevent the clamp from clamping
down unevenly.
NOTE: Tightening the screws unevenly may result in damage to the threads inside the
clamp.
l. To set the footplate angle, rotate the center clamp around the footrest extension tube.
m. Select the desired position and retighten the two 6mm screws (Fig. 11:B) to 80 in./lbs.
