Software Related Error Messages

N6784A Not Supported in Channel 1

You will see the warning message below when the software detects the N6784A

module in Channel 1 of N6705C. You will not be able to use Channel 1 as Battery

Emulator as the N6784A module does not support the Seamless Auto range

(SMR) feature.

– Remove the N6784A module and replace with the supported models stated in

the

List of Supported SMU and Electronic Load Modules

* This is only applicable for the KS833A1B software. KS833A1A users may

consider upgrading to the KS833A1B for this capability.

Instrument Settings Changed from 4-wire to 2-wire Sense Mode

You will see the warning message below when the software detected the 4-wire

configuration instead of the recommended 2-wire configuration through the

output binding post terminals to your DUT.

– The software will automatically change it to the 2-wire configuration.
* This is only applicable for the KS833A1B software. KS833A1A users may

consider upgrading to the KS833A1B for this capability.
