Language
Select the required language using the cursor keys and confirm with OK, the date/time menu then appears.
Date / Time
Set the flashing figures in date and time one by one and confirm with OK. Following the last entry, the menu
Sensor configuration appears.
Sensor configuration
Only necessary if a special lifting station or special pumping station is used for the type Ecolift.
• Use the cursor keys to select the type of sensors connected and confirm with OK.
• Adapt parameters in software menu 3.1.
Type Ecolift
If the system pump is matched to the control unit (genuine KESSEL products), carry out the setting as described
in A.).
• Press OK
• A) Use the cursor keys to select the type of pump connected and confirm with OK, the menu 0 System info is
displayed - the control unit is ready for operation.
Make sure that the current consumption range specified on the type plate of the pump(s) connected does not
exceed the maximum value of the control unit. Otherwise the control unit could become damaged during opera-
tion and/or a fault message will be issued.
Maintenance interval
If a maintenance date has not been entered, this will be displayed in plain text. A maintenance date is entered
using the menu (see 6.1 Setting maintenance date).
3.5.2 Functional check on the probes
2 testing procedures are carried out for the functional check.
1. Checking the alarm probe (motor)
• Switch the control unit on
• Immerse the probe in water
• The flap must close, the optical and acoustic
warning device must respond <30>
2. Checking the optical probe
• Switch the control unit on
• Immerse the probe in water
• The flap must close, the optical and acoustic
warning device must respond <32>
Acknowledge the alarm on the control unit, to do this press key <28>, the alarm LED goes out.
The system (control unit with pump) is ready for operation.
