5 Initial commissioning
5.1 Switch on and off
Connect the battery
Connect the battery connector(s) (2).
5.1.1 Connect to the mains voltage
Establish mains voltage (400V control units)
Connect the mains cable to the mains power supply.
Move main switch (1) into ON position.
✓ Initialisation starts automatically.
The device checks the electrical components.
Voltage test of the standby batteries.

Switch on
Turn main switch (1) into ON position. After a successful sys-
tem test, the display shows
|0 System info|
and the
green LED signals readiness.
If the display does
not show initialisation (
|3.10. Lan-

) the control unit has already been initialised. In this
case, the set parameters must be checked, or reset to the
factory settings (
|3.11 Reset|
). After resetting to the fac-
tory settings, the initialisation of the control unit starts auto-
matically.
Please note that the counter for the maintenance interval is
not changed by the resetting to the factory settings.
5.2 Carrying out initialisation
