CONVOY Lavido pressure switch – changing the battery
The pressure switch uses a conventional CR2032 ‘button’ battery. If the pressure switch fails
to initiate the movement sequence when pressed, try changing the battery. To change the
battery, unscrew the two screws on the underside of the Lavido handle. Take out the old
battery and replace it with another button battery the same size and voltage.
In the event of a power outage, or failure of the eTouch system, the larder unit
can still be opened manually. Users will notice slightly more opening resis-
tance.
Disposing of old batteries
Don’t put old batteries into your normal household waste! Please make use of the battery
disposal system that has been set up in your country. Only dispose of empty batteries.
You can generally assume a battery is empty when the device in which it is installed stops
working properly.
As protection against a short circuit, you could cover the battery poles with adhesive tape.
Germany, all consumers are legally obliged to return used batteries to a battery disposal scheme.
In most countries, you can return old batteries free to the store where you bought them.
Or take them to any store that sells batteries, or to community offices or to community waste
recycling facilities.
These are the most common hazardous substances found in batteries:
Pb = battery contains lead
Hg = battery contains mercury
Cd = battery contains cadmium
Li = battery contains lithium
Disposing of packaging
We only use environmentally compatible, recyclable packaging materials. Please check with
your dealer or your local waste disposal and recycling facilities on how to dispose of packaging.
Danger of suffocation!
Do not allow children to play with the packaging or any part of it. Films and
other packaging materials can pose a suffocation risk for children.
Disposing of the system
Disposing of your system in an environmentally compatible way means that valuable raw
materials can be recovered. Check with your local authorities on how best to dispose of the
system in an environmentally friendly way.
