Cleaning and handling the cabinet
Moisture ingress into the eTouch system can result in danger to life through an electric shock.
Before cleaning the cabinet, either switch off the socket to which the eTouch system is con-
nected, or unplug the eTouch power cable from the socket. Moisture ingress and/or aggres-
sive cleaning agents can damage the electronics of the eTouch system.
When cleaning the cabinet, make sure that neither water nor aggressive cleaning agents are
in contact with the eTouch system.
Never submerge the eTouch system in water. Covering the eTouch system
with cloths or other objects can result in damage due to overheating.
The moving parts in the eTouch system and the CONVOY fitting can trap and
draw in hair and clothing or crush parts of the body. Keep hair and body parts
away from the moving components.
Changes to the system
eTouch system is maintenance-free. Repairs can be carried out only in the manufacturers
customer service centre.
Any structural changes to the eTouch system are absolutely forbidden, they would impact on
the safety and functioning of the system.
Any changes to components or to the power supply may be made only by trained specialists.
Description
The eTouch system is supplied with power
directly from a power socket.
The CONVOY Centro front sensor and the
CONVOY Lavido grip sensor are supplied
with power from a battery (type CR2032).
The battery is part of the product package.
