Conditions
The following minimum conditions must be met in order to guarantee perfect functioning
of the eTouch system:
CONVOY Centro
• Der CONVOY Centro fitting was installed by a qualified service technician according to the
directions in the assembly instructions.
• The eTouch system was installed by a qualified service technician according to the directi-
ons in the assembly instructions.
• The front sensor battery must be installed (note polarity!).
• The front sensor has been tuned to the drive unit. For more information about assembly and
sensor tuning refer to the assembly instructions or the Internet (see bottom of page 17).
• The front sensor must be correctly installed and be in contact with the front panel when
pressure is applied to the front panel.
CONVOY Lavido
• The CONVOY Lavido fitting was installed by a qualified service technician according to the
directions in the assembly instructions.
• The eTouch system was installed by a qualified service technician according to the directi-
ons in the assembly instructions.
• The Lavido handle battery must be installed (note polarity!).
• The Lavido grip sensor has been tuned to the drive unit. For more information about as-
sembly and sensor tuning refer to the assembly instructions or the Internet (see bottom
of page 17).
Operating the CONVOY Centro
Opening is initiated by pressure on the front panel. Electrically assis-
ted opening is activated by gently pulling the front panel. Automatic
closing can be activated either by briefly pressing the button at the
side of the sensor (see picture) or by starting to push the pull-out shut
until the automatic closing support is activated.
CONVOY Centro – front panel sensor function
The sensor is tasked with evaluating the pressure on the front panel
and initiating the movement sequence. The sensor is activated when a battery is inserted and
deactivated when the battery is removed. Deactivating the sensor by removing the battery
stops automatic opening/closing via pressure on the front. Opening/closing support is still
operational.
