M D/ External disc control mode
The disc control mode cannot
be selected.
No w ire has been connected to the disc changer input
terminal on the unit.
Connect the w ire to the disc changer input terminal on
the unit.
The specified disc does not
play, but another one plays
instead.
The specified CD is quite dirty.
Clean the CD.
The CD is upside-dow n.
Load the CD w ith the labeled side up.
The disc is loaded in a different slot from that specified.
Eject the disc magazine and check the number for the
specified disc.
The disc is severely scratched.
Try another disc instead.

The sound skips.
Something is touching the disc changer.
Remove w hatever is touching it.
The CD is scratched or dirty.
If skipping happens at the same place w hen the car is
stopped, something w ith the CD is w rong. Clean the
CD.
Troubleshoot ing Guide
The M D cannot be inserted.
There is already an M D loaded.
Eject the currently loaded M D and then load the new
one.
The M D does not load.
The insertion orientation of the M D is incorrect or the M D
is upside dow n.
Insert the M D in the proper orientation.
The M D loads but soon comes
out again.
Nothing is recorded on the M D.
Sw itch the M D for one that is recorded.
The sound skips.
The mounting angle exceeds 30°.
Adjust to an angle of less than 30°.
The mounting is unstable.
Anchor the unit securely. When the sound skips at the
same portion even w hen the car is stopped, the problem
lies w ith the M D.
There is noise during playback.
The M D is soiled w ith dust or dirt.
If another M D is played back and there is no problem, then
the problem is due to the sound quality of the M D itself.
A track w ill not play.
Random play has been selected.
Turn off random play.
