Chapter 6: Various Setups
Operation procedure
1.
Set the mode switch of the joystick remote to the
Purple position.
2.
While the player is in stop mode, press
SET UP

to
display the "
MAIN
" menu of "
SET UP MENU
".

Press
ENTER
to open the setup screen.
4.
In the setup menu, select "
Rating
" by tilting the
joystick up or down and press
ENTER
.

Select a viewing level by tilting the joystick up or
down, then press
ENTER
to display the password input
screen.

Note the password in a memo and retain it in a
safe place before pressing the
ENTER
button. The
password is required when setting the viewing re-
striction.
When a password has already been set:
In step 5, the password input screen as shown be-
low appears. Now set the mode switch of the joy-
stick remote to the Orange position, input the pass-
word using the numeric buttons and press the
EN-
TER
button.

Input a 4-digit password.
Then press ENTER.

When "
" in the screen is selected and the
ENTER
button is pressed, the display returns to the setting
screen. (This effect can also be achieved by pressing
the
RETURN
button or tilting the joystick toward
the left.)
If you select "
Change Password
", the screen for in-
put of the new password will open. Input the new
password using the numeric buttons and press the
ENTER
button. When the password confirmation
screen appears, note the password in a memo and
retain it in a safe place then pressing the
ENTER

ton.
When no password has been set previously:

password using the numeric buttons and press the

temporarily the viewing restriction which has been
set previously. (This item cannot be selected unless
a password has been set previously.)
