When using the remote control, the emitter of the front section of the

remote

 control must b

e aligned (pointed towards) the receiving window

 

of

 

the

fan body (near display

 screen

)

.

The remote control will have an operating distance of approximately 5m

 

and

within a

n angle

 range of 30 degrees.

Ensure the insulator tab (visible projecting from the battery compartment if

 

fitted) 

has been removed, simply pull to remove (first time use).

For battery fitment / replacement, the locking cradle must be removed from the

 

back of the remote

.

  Press the side lever in, at the same time as pulling the

 

cover 

away (two actions are required in order to prevent inadvertent removal).

Take careful note of the battery polarity markings, place the battery in the

 

cradle 

and push back into the remote and insure it 'clicks' and locks into place.

WARNING! 

Keep batteries out of reach of children.  Swallowing may lead to 

serious injury  or death in as little as 2 hours due 

to internal 

burns.  If swallowed, go straight to a hospital
