6. Ensure that the vial is positioned in the sample chamber, the mark on the vial must be aligned with the arrow on the
meter.
7. To avoid errors from ambient light interference, do not use the meter in bright sunlight. Always close the light shield
lid during measurement and calibration.
8. Avoid spillage of water in the sample chamber. It may cause damage the meter.
9. The KS-TB-100 portable is calibrated with Formazin Standards at the factory and does not require user calibration
before use.
10. Do not shake or agitate the calibration standard violently to prevent air bubbles.
11. In order to get accurate measuring results, we recommend that you calibrate the meter at least once a month.
